Modification/deletion of submitted abstracts must be done by 23:59, Tuesday, April 2, 2024 (JST)
Abstracts should be related to the kidneys of the elderly, age-related renal changes, and renal replacement therapy in the elderly.
Abstract body should be less than 3,400 characters.
Spaces are included in the character count (tables and graphs do not count as characters if inserted as an image). Abstract authors/co-authors’ names and affiliations, do not count towards the 3,400-character allowance.
Required Headings: Background and Aims/Methods/Results/Discussion and Conclusion
Or, Background/Cases/Discussion and Conclusion in Case Series/Reports.
Abstract title should be less than 200 characters including spaces.
Figure and/or Chart can be uploaded in image file and it must be in JPEG, PNG or GIF format (uploaded images cannot exceed 1.0 MB).
Case Series/Case Reports that present novel hypotheses, pathologies, or treatments are welcome.
The maximum number of abstract co-authors that can be listed in an abstract is 15.
The maximum number of abstract authors’ institution that can be listed in an abstract is 11.
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
This symposium is on-site only, and accepted abstracts will be presented as posters at the moderated poster session on site.
Content of Work Agreement: The presenting author must confirm that all co-authors agree with the submission and content of the abstract. The JSN and the ERA cannot be deemed responsible for any infringement of this rule.
Copyright: All authors of abstracts grant the JSN and the ERA for an indefinite period of time, without territorial limitations and without any right to compensation, the right to make the abstract available to the public as well as to all other users, through the JSN and the ERA website and any other websites operated by the JSN and the ERA as well as via social media or any other website related to medical issues.

JSN/ERA Symposium Award 2024 – Best Presentation Award and Outstanding Abstract Award: Outstanding abstracts from the applicants will be selected by the JSN and the ERA Award Committee, and will be presented as oral sessions.
